How to Measure for the Right Drop

1.     Measure from the ground to the top of your vehicle’s hitch receiver.

2.     Measure from the ground to the bottom of your trailer’s coupler.

3.     Subtract the trailer height from the vehicle height.

o    If your hitch is higher than the trailer, you need a drop.

o    If your trailer is higher, you need a rise.

Example:
Hitch height = 500mm
Coupler height = 400mm
Drop required = 100mm (approx. 4")
